FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

I began my first foray into the world of real estate back in 2007, when I bought my first rental property. From that moment onwards, I was hooked and wanted to own more. Over the years, I have gone from owning that single condominium to building a significant portfolio of properties that included single family homes and multi-family apartment buildings. In 2016, I decided to expand into real estate development, focusing on multi-family investment properties in the Ottawa and Toronto areas that I could both hold and offer to other investors. Since that time, I have completed a number of projects in both cities with the largest being an eight unit building in Toronto. One of the greatest lessons I have learned in real estate is that you don’t need to go far to find good opportunities – you just need to know what you’re looking for. Using the experience I have gained purchasing investment properties over the years, and coupling it with my current employment as a real estate broker and developer, places me in a unique position to assist clients in working towards financial freedom through owning real estate. THE BIGGEST MISCONCEPTION IN REAL ESTATE INVESTING

One of the biggest misconceptions in real estate investing is that you need a lot of money to start. In fact, this couldn’t be further from the truth. It doesn’t matter whether you are working with $15,000 or $15,000,000 – I have developed systems that can help you work towards creating a real estate portfolio that aligns with your future goals. Each of these systems was created through personal experience building my own portfolio.

The Process

The process starts with a discussion of your goals and objectives, and the funds you have available to work with. From there, I’ll develop a number of potential strategies that might work and provide you with their associated timelines. Once we have a plan in place, I’ll begin searching for and analyzing properties that might work well for you. We’ll then sit down and go over the benefits and drawbacks of the various options until we find the right opportunity. From there, I’ll work with you to secure the property and then educate you on the next steps to building your own successful portfolio.
